What are the decrees of God?

*The decrees of God are his eternal purposes, whereby for his own glory he has ordained whatever comes to pass.

  • What does the fact that so much attention and care was given to building the tabernacle reveal about its importance?
  • Why were the people required to go to the tabernacle in order to worship the Lord?

  • Why did God so dramatically punish Nadab and Abihu for offering unauthorized fire to him?
  • What does this incident teach about the negative effects of alcohol?
  • What can we learn from the fact that the earthly sanctuary was a picture of the true, heavenly temple?
