What will be done to the wicked at death?
The wicked will at their death be cast into the torments of hell.
(Ps 9:16–17; Luke 12:5; Rom 2:8–9,12; 2 Thess 1:8, 9; Rev 20:12–15)
Memory Verse
Psalm 9:16
The LORD has made himself known; he has executed judgment;
the wicked are snared in the work of their own hands.
Sing-Along Song of the Week
Psalm 1 (lyric video)
The Corner Room
Verse 1
Blessed is the man
Who walks not in the counsel of the wicked
Nor stands in the way of sinners
Nor sits in the seat of scoffers
But His delight is in the law of the Lord
Chorus 1
And on His law
He meditates day and night
Verse 2
He is like a tree
Planted by streams of water
That yields its fruit in its season
And its leaf does not wither
In all that he does
He prospers
Chorus 2
The wicked are not so
But are like chaff that the wind drives away
The wicked are not so
But are like chaff that the wind drives away
Bridge
Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment
Nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous
For the Lord knows the way of the righteous
But the way of the wicked will perish
