From Midweek-June 19th

Psalm 119:89-96

Lamedh

89     Forever, O Lord, your word

is firmly fixed in the heavens.

    90     Your faithfulness endures to all generations;

you have established the earth, and it stands fast.

91     By your appointment they stand this day,

for all things are your servants.

92     If your law had not been my delight,

I would have perished in my affliction.

93     I will never forget your precepts,

for by them you have given me life.

94     I am yours; save me,

for I have sought your precepts.

95     The wicked lie in wait to destroy me,

but I consider your testimonies.

96     I have seen a limit to all perfection,

but your commandment is exceedingly broad.

Heat Wave

With near record breaking temperatures this week it's good to remember to check in on our neighbors, especially the elderly.blush Keep in mind also, that the church building is always available if you have no air conditioning (or heat in the winter).

enlightenedThere is also a washer and dryer in the basement, and a shower on the second floor if the need arises.wink

In response to the Grub and Grow: Thank you all for the prayers and for reaching out about Chuck. God answered your prayers and Chuck has had no BP issues since Sunday am. Although we weren’t there, I’ve heard several references to the food provided. Someone mentioned the lesson is helping them evaluate their trust in God and someone else mentioned Dave’s testimony of God at work through his suffering at the hospital. I also heard about an Oreo cake and a ginger snap banana pudding dessert. We definitely missed a very good “pot luck” last Sunday and look forward to being with everyone tomorrow.
